I was thinking I would install the dash in the body now too but my door braces are in the way so that'll have to wait until I get the body back on the frame and can cut the braces out.

So I taped the shims to the body mounts where they were when I took the body off the frame last November so it's ready to drop the body back on now.

To play it safe I'll add a couple more braces across the width of the body so nothing gets bent when I lift it.  Here's how I did it.

Then I lifted the body with the cherry picker and removed the rotisserie and the mounting brackets and got everything out of the way so I could roll the chassis under the body and then push the cherry picker and body forward and slowly lower the body back in place.

When the body was sitting solid on the shims I  removed all the bracing and installed the dash and it sure looks nice in there.
