March 30th update:

As you can see in the photos below, I got color on the
underside of the Deck Lid, Hood and Doors
and on the inside of the hull.
Then I sprayed "Spray on" pickup bed liner
on the underside of the Deck Lid, inside the doors, and
troughout inside the hull from the back of the trunk back.
This material closely resembles the original sound deadening
material that was sprayed throughout these same areas.
Tomorrow I'll remove the masking on the outside of Amphi
Mask over the interior I just completed,
and then I have to sand the primer on the outside,
spray another coat of primer, sand it, and then a couple
coats of color and about 3 or 4 coats of clear and the paint
work is done except for color sanding the exterior and
spraying some small parts.
Stay tuned...

Sunday April 4th update:
Now I have one last chance to make this into a duck blind,
not really, one last chance to make sure there are no small dings
that will show when she shines. I hadn't sanded the primer
on the outside of TRFNSRF just in case I would have gotten
some overspray from the bottom or inside on it.
I sprayed a "check coat" on the primer and sanded it out
with a long board and 180 grit paper.
You can see the little dings that will show up when you do this.
they are nearly impossible to see or feel, but the "check coat"
makes them come to attention. A little glazing compound,
a little more sanding, another coat of primer over everything and
a final sanding with 500 wet and it's ready for the seal coat.
After 2 coats of sealer and a 30 minute wait, "nib" it with 600 wet or dry
and spray on the color and clear.
It turned out BEAUTIFUL!
The deck lid was especially difficult because it looked like
someone had walked across the louvers.
it was very time consuming straightening them all out
and it was well worth it because it looks nearly perfect!
