On Monday, Dec. 22 I erected a "tent" inside my workshop over the Amphi.
This will contain the sand as I sandblast the parts of the shell
that are rigid enough for sandblasting
and all of the components of the car.
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER sandblast flat sheetmetal
if you're doing a restoration yourself, as it will warp the metal severly!!!
The tent frame is like you see the vendors use at swap meets and flea markets.
I simply covered the frame with clear poly and left a couple slits where I can enter.
I have a 21" exhaust fan in the side wall of my shop
which I connected to the "tent" with a "duct" again made of the clear poly.
